Pune Records Third-Highest Price Appreciation In Real Estate In 2022: Research

Pune saw the launch of 64,343 units in 2022 as compared to 39,869 units in 2021, according to the Real estate research.

2022 for the real estate industry was a buoyant year as the Covid-induced slowdown of 2020 and 2021 was finally a thing of the past. The research took into consideration property sales in seven cities – Mumbai Metropolitan Region, Pune, NCR, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Chennai, all of which saw year-on-year growth in property sales. Hyderabad (89 per cent) and Kolkata (62 per cent) were the two cities which saw more growth than Pune in terms of unit absorption.
